Yes, it will be on Amazon Prime, but not for all. Warner Bros. Pictures’ fantasy comedy ‘Barbie’ will be available on Amazon Prime in the USA, but only for rent and purchase; it will not be included in the subscription to Amazon Prime due to streaming and production rights. According to reports, the rental or purchase versions of ‘Barbie’ will be on Amazon Prime within two months of its theatrical release at a price range of bwteen $19.99 to $24.99. Additionally, the movie will be available on other platforms, including Vudu, iTunes, Redbox, and Youtube. Overall, Amazon Prime’s rental users will be able to watch it on the platform, but not the subscribers of Prime.
Like every time, this news does not impress the subscribers of Amazon Prime much, and it’s too clear that premium subscribers can’t watch it directly on the platform. Over the years, it has been observed that Amazon Prime focuses more on paid versions of movies than on official streaming, and the platform has little interest in the official streaming of ‘Barbie’.
