The sixth installment in the ‘Scream’ film series and a direct sequel to ‘Scream 2022‘, Paramount’s ‘Scream VI’ has arrived in US theaters[1] and has received mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences. The outstanding performance of the cast, energetic delivery, and climax have especially been praised, making it a watch for R-rated slasher film enthusiasts.
Starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, and Jack Quaid, ‘Scream VI’ is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Produced by Kevin Williamson, Chad Villella, and William Sherak under the production banners of Spyglass Media Group, Project X Entertainment, and Radio Silence Productions and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
Is Scream 6 on Amazon Prime?
After its theatrical release, the slasher drama ‘Scream VI’ will be exclusively available on Amazon Prime in the USA as a VOD version for a price range between $4.99 to $19.99. However, not for premium subscribers as ‘Scream VI’ is already scheduled to be streamed on Paramount+ within two months of its theatrical release as an official production of Paramount Pictures. Overall, it is impressive news for both Paramount and Amazon Prime’s rental users, but not for premium subscribers of Amazon.
Along with Amazon Prime, ‘Scream VI’ will also be available as a VOD version on Vudu, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play Movies, and Redbox. Reports suggest that it will be available on VOD platforms one month after its theatrical release— before its official streaming release.
