After the moderate success of Phase Four, the MCU is going to start Phase Five with ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’— the sequel to the ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)’ and the third film of the ‘Ant-Man’ film franchise— which is scheduled to be released in the USA on February 17, 2023[1]. Makers have lots of hopes for Phase Five, especially from ‘Quantumania’ due to the big critical and commercial success of its last films, and the theory of “Quantum Universe” and “Kang” is also an important factor that the makers spent a massive on threequel as compared to the originals.

According to reports, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ is a big-budgeted film, and the production budget for the threequel is around $200 million before P&A—the number of film’s values following the last few years’ strategies of production. With a production budget of $200 million, it became the most expensive film in the trilogy; ‘Ant-Man’s $130 million and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’s $195 million, and also one of the most expensive films of 2022.

‘Ant-Man 3’ was produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard under the production banner of Marvel Studios and is set to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios. According to reports, it will be streaming on Disney Plus in the USA after its 60 days of theatrical release due to the official film of Walt Disney Studios. As part of the MCU, ‘Ant-Man 3’ carries the legacy of ‘Ant-Man’ and is the beginning of a new era. Despite positive commercial expectations, it becomes necessary for the film to succeed when the makers have spent a lot of money. However, if the experiment fails, it will be a huge disappointment.

The Superhero drama film ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, directed by Peyton Reed from the screenplay by Jeff Loveness, and the film stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, William Jackson Harper, David Dastmalchian, and Katy O’Brian. Also, the 31st film of the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe.
