According to California Film Commission, Paramount Pictures’ Brad Pitt starring period drama ‘Babylon’ has been made on a budget of $109 million, including all taxes. $109 million is not a big amount, but according to this report, ‘Babylon’ is one of the big-budget movies of the last few years[1].
‘Babylon’ is being made under the production banners of Marc Platt Productions and Material Pictures, and the producers of the film are Olivia Hamilton, Marc Platt, and Matt Plouffe. According to reports, Spider-Man trilogy actor Tobey Maguire is an executive producer of ‘Babylon’, and Tobey also will feature in a supporting role in this film.
According to reports, ‘Babylon’ was announced in July 2019, and the filming of ‘Babylon’ starts in mid-2020 and filming wraps in October 2021. Despite this, ‘Babylon’ has been completed in just two years, but the film would have been completed in less time if there had been no COVID-19 pandemic. Not only this, according to reports, Brad Pitt paid a double-digit amount for this film.
Upcoming period drama film ‘Babylon’ is directed and written by Damien Chazelle and stars Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Li Jun Li, and Jovan Adepo.
