Brad Pitt’s upcoming action comedy-drama ‘Bullet Train’ is ready to release and Sony Pictures has officially scheduled ‘Bullet Train’ to be theatrically released on August 5 in the United States. But the shocking thing is that despite having a well-known star cast and a big banners film like Sony Pictures, this film is a mid-budget film.

According to California Film Commission, Sony Pictures’ upcoming comedy-drama ‘Bullet Train’ was made on a budget of $86 million, including all taxes, and this amount is too little compared to the Sony Pictures recently released ‘Uncharted’. Despite ‘Bullet Train’ being a mid-budget film, the main stars of the film Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, and others, are paid double-digit number amounts for ‘Bullet Train’.

According to reports, the makers have spent more money on the star cast of the film, while the production budget for ‘Bullet Train’ is less. The ‘Bullet Train’ was produced under the production banners of Columbia Pictures and 87North Productions and is set to be distrbuted by Sony Pictures Releasing.

‘Bullet Train’ is based on Maria Beetle Novel by Kōtarō Isaka, and the ‘Bullet Train’ was announced by Sony Pictures in June 2020, and filming of the movie was started in November 2020 and completed in just 60 days schedule, and most of the shooting of the film is done in Tokyo, Japan.

‘Bullet Train’ is an action comedy-drama film directed by David Leitch and stars Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Michael Shannon. The writer of the film is Zak Olkewicz.
