The sequel to ‘Halloween Kills’, Universal Pictures’ slasher thriller ‘Halloween Ends’ is ready to start its journey at the box office, and it will be released in the USA theaters on October 14, 2022[1]. Considering the box office performance of the last released ‘Halloween Kills’ and the popularity of the ‘Halloween’ film franchise, it’s easy to say that ‘Halloween Ends’ has full potential to do well at the box office, and word of mouth doe’s not mattered.
Halloween Ends Box Office Prediction

Due to the success of the last release and the buzz of ‘Halloween Ends’ in the audience, Universal Pictures and Experts are confident that the film will give a tremendous opening, but still, a big difference in the prediction of both. Universal Pictures is aiming for a minimum $40-45 million debut from ‘Halloween Ends’ in over 3700+ theaters, although the industry and experts’ estimates are at over $50-60 million, and both predictions are clearly showing that ‘Halloween Ends’ will end the dry season at the box office. Even though all predictions are pretty good, it still can’t be said for sure that the ‘Ends’ will beat ‘Halloween Kills’.
As an R-rated slasher drama, the opening expectations are pretty tremendous, but the same as ‘Halloween Kills’, no too excellent expectations at lifetime’s box office from the sequel, which is currently at $100 million+/- domestically and $150-175 million globally, while this number should have been around over $200 million. But despite this, if seen from the production point of view, $150-175 million from a $20 million budgeted film equals winning the millions of dollars lottery, and ‘Halloween Ends’ is all set to be a financial success.

There is no match for Universal Pictures this year when it comes to high box office profits at low costs, such as ‘Dog’, ‘The Black Phone’, ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’, and ‘Jurassic World Dominion’. But on the other hand, it should also not be forgotten that the production has given five flops in the last two months, which include ‘Nope’, ‘Easter Sunday’, ‘Emily the Criminal’, ‘Beast’, and ‘Bros’. So, it is too important for ‘Halloween Ends’ to be successful.
