Yes, it will be on HBO Max. As an official Warner Bros Pictures production, ‘Barbie’ will be available for streaming on HBO Max in the USA due to its streaming rights. According to Warner Bros Pictures’ official streaming policy, ‘Barbie’ will be available for streaming on WBD’s HBO Max after its 45-day traditional theatrical window. However, the notable thing is that the streaming of the movie largely depends on the box office performance. If the film does well in theaters, the makers may extend its streaming release even further.
In addition to HBO Max, ‘Barbie’ will not be available for streaming on other major platforms such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, or Hulu because it is a Warner Bros Pictures production, and there is currently no streaming deal in place with any of these platforms for ‘Barbie’ or other films related to Warner Bros Pictures.
