Warner Bros Pictures/New Line Cinema comedy-drama ‘House Party’ is fully ready for its theatrical release, and it will be released in the USA theaters on January 13, 2023, to become the first theatrical release from Warner Bros in 2023[1].
Starring Tosin Cole, Jacob Latimore, D.C. Young Fly, Karen Obilom, and Scott Mescudi, ‘House Party‘—the reboot of the 1990’s same-name movie—is directed by Calmatic and written by Jamal Olori and Stephen Glover. Produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter under the production banners of New Line Cinema, Fifth Season, and SpringHill Company and set to be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
Is House Party on HBO Max?

Undoubtedly Yes, 2023’s comedy film ‘House Party’ will be streaming on HBO Max in the USA after its theatrical release as an official production of Warner Bros Pictures—the official owner of HBO Max, and following the last theatrical release of production, it will also be on HBO Max for streaming after 45 days of its theatrical release—after February 27, 2023.
As per reports, ‘House Party’ was made as an HBO Max original and had a release date, but weeks before the release, the production was shelved and canceled the release. After this, along with changing the release dates of many big films, the production decided to release ‘House Party’ theatrically instead of HBO Max. But for the time being, in our opinion, the decision to release on HBO Max was correct instead of a theatrical release as the theatrical buzz of the film is negligible.
