There is no doubt Buzz Lightyear’s character-based film ‘Lightyear’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2022, and everyone has been waiting for the release of ‘Lightyear’ for a long time. But apart from the theatrical audience, the OTT audience is only waiting for digital streaming of the film because it’s a family-friendly movie, and who wouldn’t like to watch this movie at home.
But the film will indeed be streaming on only one platform, and Amazon Prime users may think that it is Amazon Prime, but it is not.
Is Lightyear On Amazon Prime?


Not, ‘Lightyear’ will be not streaming on Amazon Prime anytime in the USA after its theatrical release, and the reason behind this is too simple, ‘Lightyear’ is a production of Walt Disney Studios, and apart from Disney Plus, there is no 0.1% chances film streaming on other platforms, because Walt Disney Studios never liked the rest of OTT platforms. Not only in the subscription version, but ‘Lightyear’ will not be available on Amazon Prime in the rented version.
The ‘Lightyear’ is directed by Angus MacLane, who is also a co-writer of the film with Jason Headley, and stars Chris Evans, Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, James Brolin, Taika Waititi, and Dale Soules.
