  1. I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme.

  2. It was just what I wanted on this cold grey spring day. A throwback to the romcoms of the past where in the hands of lesser actors would have bombed, but JLo shines and so does Owen Wilson an always love Sara Silverman! Hate that we have become so jaded that we can’t just suspend reality for a bit and watch people fall in love.

  3. “MARRY ME” certainly is a throwback movie, a throwback to romantic-comedies that you can watch and enjoy over and over again. It’s a “comfort movie” for grown-ups. Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson have unexpected on-screen chemistry.

  4. Well Marry Me is more of Jlo performance but bad acting. Only watch and skip through. I don’t consider Jlo an actress but a performer. I noticed that her movies is more if an comedy not like an oscar award. Not something I watch twice.

  5. I watched MARRY ME twice this weekend and it isn’t even Sunday yet. Here’s my review numerically.
    1. I loved the casting. It was perfect, especially Jennifer Lopez, Maluna and Owen Wilson.
    2. The men aren’t denigrated and neither are the women. Breath of fresh air.
    3. There is no weed smoking. THANK YOU.
    4. There is no gratuitous sex.
    5. In the scene with her manager, he cuts off the interviewer as soon as he starts with the gossipy questions.
    6. Math and math skills was made in this film as was the teacher (Mr. Wilson) and the guidance counselor, Sara Silverman.
    7. The music is sooooo perfect. Loved hearing “If Ever I Would Leave You”.
    8. The music and the story line matched beautifully.
All in all I haven’t seen a morally satisfying yet interesting RomCom like this… EVER

    1. Lovely analysis. I wouldn’t understand why people watch this kind of movie and call it crap. I have watched it twice withing a week now. It is a movie I can keep.

    2. I love your analysis. I have seen marry twice this week. I wouldn’t understand why people would rate the movie low. I want the writters of marry me achieved Thier objective. The music is perfect, no smoking, too much nudity.

  6. I was searching for a romcom tonight and assumed I’d be watching one from the past and when I found this streaming on Amazon I gave it a try. I loved it. It was just what I needed to escape life and chill. Good music and added bonus no blatant sex scenes. Just love, realization of what’s really important in like, and some fun!

  7. It’s pretty bad. Disjointed scene transition. Boring dialogue. JLo’s character is not very believable.

  8. Wow !! I was a little disappointed I couldn’t feel the chemistry between the two main actors and I love them both but not together .And I couldn’t wait to watch this movie .I’m sad 😞 but I still love their work .
