The spin-off to the ”Shrek” Franchise and sequel to the ‘Puss in Boots’, Universal’s ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ is fully ready for its theatrical release, and the film officially releases in the USA on December 21, 2022[1]. ‘Puss in Boots 2’ is directed by Joel Crawford and written by Paul Fisher, Tom Wheeler, and Tommy Swerdlow with a voice cast of Harvey Guillén, Salma Hayek, Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Samson Kayo, Ray Winstone, John Mulaney, Wagner Moura, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Produced by Mark Swift under the production banner of DreamWorks Animation, and Universal Pictures will distribute it.

Yes, DreamWorks Animation’s ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ will be officially streaming on Netflix in the USA after six months of its theatrical release due to the streaming rights deal between Netflix and Universal Pictures. As per the deal between Netflix and Universal, before Netflix, ‘Puss in Boots 2’ will first be streamed on Universal’s Peacock after 60 days of its theatrical release for four months, then it will be streaming on Netflix for 18 months.
Overall, Netflix users will be able to watch ‘Puss in Boots 2’ on Netflix after June 202, which is a too-long gap, and maybe by then, this film will be out of your mind. But on the other hand, ‘Puss in Boots’ is a family film, so no matter how long it takes to stream, it will also be liked as a streaming film because word-of-mouth is good.
