The threequel of ‘Fantastic Beasts’, ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’ received mixed reviews from the audience and critics. According to reports, the fantasy drama ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’, released in the USA on 15 April 2022 in more than 4200 theaters, collected $20 million on its opening day and $42.15 million on its opening weekend at the domestic box office (USA & Canada). Overall, ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’ has so far collected $95.85 million domestically (USA & Canada), $309.31 million overseas, and has a total grossed $405.16 million worldwide[1] against the budget of $200 million.
‘Secrets Of Dumbledore’ collected near $400 million globally and mostly earnings from overseas theaters. But the shocking thing is that $400 million is not enough for ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’ to become a successful film because the budget for the film is $200 million, excluding prints and advertising costs. Overall, looking at the so-far box office performance, News Portals and critics considered ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’ as an Below-Hit film at the box office.
The so-far domestic box office of the film is not too well, and according to reports, ‘Secrets of Dumbledore’ will not cross the $100 million mark in domestic areas, and that’s a poor performance from the film domestically. Films normally do flop when one of the main characters actors is replaced for no reason.
They made a bad decision by replacing Johnny Depp. It’s unbelievably sad that a woman can lie and bring a man down because of revenge and jealousy. JOHNNY DEPP FOREVER!
They messed up big time.
They should’ve faithfully stuck with Depp. Crimes of Grindelwald was way better compared to Secrets of Dumbledore. I had to watch both movies to make a valid comparison of both of them.
