The sequel to ‘Shazam’, which was officially released in the USA on March 17, 2023[1], had high expectations from both the makers and the audience. But, the film has failed to live up to them.
‘Shazam 2’, directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, features a star-studded cast including Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, and Meagan Good. Produced by Peter Safran under the production banners of New Line Cinema, DC Studios, the Safran Company, and Seven Bucks Productions. Warner Bros Pictures will distribute it.
Is Shazam 2 on Netflix?

Due to issues with streaming and production rights, Warner Bros Pictures’ superhero film ‘Shazam 2’ will not be available for streaming on Netflix in the USA after its theatrical release. As the official film of Warner Bros Pictures, the sequel is already scheduled to stream on HBO Max via subscription 45 days after its theatrical release, following the production company’s official streaming policy. Therefore, it is unlikely that the film will ever be available for streaming on Netflix, and Netflix users will not be able to watch it on their preferred platform.
Similar to the USA, ‘Shazam 2’ will never be available for streaming on Netflix in other territories as well. However, there are possibilities that the movie will be available for streaming on Disney Plus in countries outside the USA. In our opinion, for the best viewing experience, the sequel should be enjoyed in theaters overall.
