According to early estimates, Universal Pictures’ ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ aims for a minimum $70-$80 million opening debut with a $30 million opening day, and it’s a solid start for a mid-budget animated film, especially from the family audience. But it does not matter because if ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ will earn $500 million, then automatically it become a successful film against production budget of $85 million, and ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ is a money-making film for Universal Pictures, which already enjoying the success of ‘Jurassic World Dominion’.
