The Flash Box Office Performance: Success or Failure?

In-Text: Warner Bros Pictures’ latest superhero drama, ‘The Flash’ has so far earned $108.13 million domestically and $268.53 million globally against its $220 million production budget. Additionally, the film’s marketing expenses amounted to $120 million. With these numbers, ‘The Flash’ is proving to be an underperformer at the box office, signaling another Box Office Disaster for the DCEU as it seems unlikely that ‘The Flash’ will achieve its break-even point or reach a global gross of $600-700 million. ‘The Flash’s performance is even weaker than ‘Black Adam’, so you can imagine how big a loss it is going to be for makers.
