A sequel to 2021’s ‘Halloween Kills’ and one of the most anticipated films of 2022, ‘Halloween Ends’ is all set for its journey in theaters, and it will be released on 14th October 2022 in the USA. ‘Halloween Ends’ is directed by David Gordon Green and written by Paul Brad Logan, Chris Bernier, and Danny McBride, based on ‘Halloween Characters’ by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Rohan Campbell, and Kyle Richards.
‘Halloween Ends’ was produced under the production banners of Blumhouse Productions, Universal Pictures, Miramax, Trancas International Films, and Rough House Productions and is set to be distributed by Universal Pictures.
Where to Watch Halloween Ends Movie?
Blumhouse’s slasher drama ‘Halloween Ends’ will be officially streaming on Peacock in the USA, and it will be both theatrical and streaming simultaneously, which is news for the theatrical and streaming audiences. But according to some reports, it will be available to stream on Peacock for just 60 days at a decent price range. Apart from official streaming, ‘Halloween Ends’ will also be available in PVOD version on Amazon Prime, Vudu, Youtube, Apple TV, and Google Play Movies after its month of theatrical at $3.99 to $19.99.
As an official production of Universal Pictures, the streaming of film on Peacock is 100% confirmed. So, there is no doubt that it will never be streaming on Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max in the USA after its theatrical release, but maybe, it will be on these platforms in other territories apart from the USA.
Even though releasing in theaters and OTT is good from the audience’s point of view, it can also affect the box office, and something similar has been seen before with ‘Halloween Kills’ as well. But if the production has taken such a decision, then it must have been done with some thought, and anyway, the franchise is so successful that it doesn’t matter because more audiences will watch in theaters only.
